Senior Frontend Developer (React / Next.js)

Location: Remote / Hybrid – Lagos preferred

We are looking for an experienced Senior Frontend Developer with deep expertise in React and Next.js to join our engineering team. You will own major parts of the user interface, build reusable components, optimize performance, and ship features that directly impact thousands of users.

Responsibilities

• Architect, build, and maintain scalable UIs using React (Next.js)
• Implement responsive, high-quality designs using TailwindCSS + custom components
• Integrate APIs using Axios/Fetch with clean state handling
• Manage global application state using Redux Toolkit / Context API
• Build secure authentication and routing flows using JWT
• Own performance optimization, SEO, and accessibility improvements
• Collaborate closely with backend engineers and product/design teams
• Maintain clean, documented, reusable frontend code

Requirements

• 5+ years experience building production-grade React applications
• Strong expertise with Next.js (App Router, SSR/SSG, routing, performance)
• Advanced knowledge of TailwindCSS and component abstractions
• Strong experience with Redux Toolkit or Context API
• Solid understanding of JWT auth and secure frontend patterns
• Excellent debugging and performance optimization skills
• Ability to lead frontend decisions and mentor junior developers

Nice to Have

• Experience with Map libraries (Google Maps, Leaflet, Mapbox)
• UI animation experience (Framer Motion, GSAP)
• Familiarity with CI/CD workflows (Vercel, GitHub Actions)
