Senior Construction Supervisor

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate day-to-day construction activities on site, ensuring compliance with drawings, specifications, and approved programmes.
• Manage site personnel, subcontractors, and artisans, allocating labour effectively to meet project milestones.
• Monitor material usage, procurement follow-ups, and inventory to prevent wastage and delays.
• Enforce health, safety, and environmental standards across all site activities.
• Prepare and submit regular progress reports to the Project Manager and management.
• Liaise with architects, consultants, and quantity surveyors to resolve technical and site-related issues.
• Conduct quality checks and ensure remedial works are carried out promptly where required.

Requirements

• Minimum of a Higher National Diploma (HND) or Bachelor's degree in Building Technology, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. A Master’s Degree is an added advantage
• At least 7 years' relevant site supervision experience, with a proven record on building and construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and Nigerian building regulations and safety standards.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural and structural drawings.
• Strong leadership, coordination, and communication skills.
  
• Proficiency in relevant reporting tools and basic site software.

Location: Lagos (site-based, with travel as required).
