Job descriptions & requirements
Responsibilities:
- Supervision of sand filling process
- Oversight of sheet piling/containment structures
- Sand quality verification (grading, silt content)
- Compaction control
- Field testing coordination (FDT, CPT, plate load
tests)
- Settlement and stability monitoring
- Contractor method review and work certification
Requirements:
- B.Eng. or B.Sc. in Civil Engineering
- COREN registered (mandatory)
- 10+ years' experience in reclamation, marine works, or sand filling
- Strong knowledge of Lagos coastal soil conditions
