Job descriptions & requirements

Responsibilities:
  • Design, implement, and maintain enterprise network infrastructure solutions.
  • Develop network architectures for LAN, WAN, wireless, security, and data center environments.
  • Perform network assessments, audits, upgrades, and technology refresh initiatives.
  • Monitor network performance, availability, capacity, and security.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex network and infrastructure issues.
  • Act as an escalation point for critical network incidents and technical challenges.
  • Lead network deployment, migration, upgrade, and transformation projects.
  • Develop implementation plans, testing procedures, and rollback strategies.
  • Coordinate project activities with customers, vendors, project managers, and technical teams.
  • Support data center technologies, cloud connectivity, and hybrid networking solutions.
  • Implement and maintain secure network and cloud integration architectures.
  • Provide technical leadership, guidance, and mentorship to junior team members.
  • Review technical designs, configurations, and implementation plans.
  • Conduct technical training and knowledge-sharing sessions.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, network diagrams, standards, and operational procedures.
  • Prepare technical reports and present recommendations to management and customers.
  • Support pre-sales activities including solution design, technical presentations, demonstrations, and proposal development.
  • Participate in cross-functional projects and support emerging technology initiatives.
  • Engage with customers, vendors, and technology partners to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support business and operational objectives.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of 5–10 years of experience in enterprise networking and infrastructure environments.
  • Minimum of 3–5 years of hands-on experience managing networking technologies.
  • Proven experience delivering enterprise-scale networking projects.
  • Experience supporting mission-critical environments.
  • Strong knowledge of networking technologies, protocols, and infrastructure solutions.
  • Experience with network security, data center technologies, and cloud integration.
  • Knowledge of automation, scripting, and network management tools.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
  • Strong customer engagement and stakeholder management skills.
  • Technical leadership and mentoring capability.
  • Project management and coordination skills.
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong documentation and reporting skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.


Preferred Requirements:

  • Professional networking certifications relevant to enterprise networking and infrastructure.
  • Advanced specialist certifications in networking, security, cloud, or data center technologies.
  • Expert-level networking certifications are highly desirable.
  • Additional certifications in virtualization, cloud platforms, cybersecurity, or related technologies are an advantage.
  • Experience in financial services, telecommunications, government, or large enterprise environments is an added advantage.
