Job descriptions & requirements
Responsibilities
- Financial Reporting & Analysis: Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, management accounts, and budget variances.
- Compliance & Auditing: Coordinate internal and external audits, manage tax filings, and ensure strict compliance with local financial regulations and accounting standards (IFRS/GAAP).
- General Ledger & Reconciliations: Review journal entries, reconcile balance sheet/general ledger accounts, and maintain clean financial ledgers.
- Budgeting & Forecasting: Assist in financial planning, cash flow monitoring, revenue projections, and expenditure forecasting.
- Internal Controls: Develop, implement, and monitor robust internal controls to safeguard company assets and mitigate financial risks.
Requirements:
- A minimum of a bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Active Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification
- A minimum of 3-5 years of progressive accounting and financial management experience.
- Advanced knowledge of IFRS and tax compliance laws.
- Proficiency in accounting software
- Strong analytical capabilities
