Role Description
As a Senior Brand Manager, you will be responsible for driving the strategic development, execution, and performance of the brand to ensure sustained growth, equity, and market leadership. You will oversee brand positioning, campaign execution, and cross-functional collaboration to deliver a seamless brand experience across all channels and touchpoints. Crucially, you will serve as the commercial champion for the brand, translating strategic vision into tangible sales results and maximizing profitability:
Key Responsibilities
1. Brand Strategy & Development
- Lead the development and execution of the brand strategy to achieve business goals.
- Define and refine brand identity, positioning, and messaging to align with target audiences and market trends.
- Ensure consistent brand representation across all channels, including retail, e-commerce, and wholesale.
- Establish and monitor key commercial KPIs (e.g., revenue, profit margins, conversion rates) derived from the overall brand strategy.
2. Campaign Management
- Plan and manage 360-degree marketing campaigns, including seasonal launches and promotional events.
- Collaborate with creative and digital teams to create compelling storytelling and assets.
- Analyze campaign performance and optimize strategies for future initiatives.
- Direct campaigns with a focus on commercial outcomes, driving traffic, increasing purchase intent, and maximizing short-term sales velocity..
3. Consumer Insights & Market Analysis
- Conduct market research and analyze customer data to inform brand strategies and identify growth opportunities.
- Monitor competitor activity, market trends, and emerging consumer behaviors.
- Translate complex market data into clear commercial recommendations for product, pricing, and distribution.
4. Commercial Performance & Profitability
- Actively support the brand's performance in terms of sales volume, revenue targets, and gross margin goals.
- Work closely with the Sales and Finance teams to forecast demand, manage inventory risks, and define pricing strategies that support brand equity while optimizing profitability,
5. Cross-functional Collaboration
- Work closely with design, product development, and sales teams to align brand strategy with product offerings and commercial requirements.
- Act as the primary interface between Marketing and Sales, ensuring sales teams are equipped with compelling commercial narratives and collateral.
6. Budget Management
- Manage and allocate the brand budget efficiently, ensuring a strong return on investment.
- Oversee agency relationships and contracts to ensure quality delivery.
- Rigorously track and report on marketing expenditure against revenue generated (ROI/ROAS)..
7. Leadership & Team Development
- Mentor and guide junior team members, fostering a culture of creativity and accountability.
- Lead cross-functional meetings and presentations to communicate brand performance and strategies.
Qualifications and Key Competencies
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business, or a related field (MBA preferred).
- 5+ years of experience in brand management, ideally within the fashion, lifestyle, luxury, or FMCG industry.
- Strong understanding of the fashion market, trends, and customer psychology.
- Proven success in developing and executing innovative brand strategies and campaigns.
- Demonstrated track record of achieving commercial targets and driving measurable revenue growth through brand initiatives.
- Excellent leadership, project management, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in analytics and tools for measuring brand and campaign performance. with a strong ability to interpret commercial data.
- Passion for fashion, creativity, and an eye for detail.
