Senior Audit Associate
Job summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Audit Associate to join our Audit & Assurance unit. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical expertise, a solid understanding of international standards, and proven experience in delivering high-quality audit services.

Responsibilities:
Audit Execution:
- Perform audit procedures in accordance with approved audit plans and programs.
- Prepare and review audit working papers to ensure accuracy and compliance with ISA.
- Execute substantive testing, analytical reviews, and internal control evaluations.
Supervision & Team Support:
- Supervise, guide, and review the work of Audit Associates and interns.
- Provide on-the-job training and technical support to junior staff.
- Escalate audit issues and risks to the Audit Manager in a timely manner.
Financial Reporting & Compliance:
- Review clients’ financial statements for compliance with IFRS and applicable regulatory requirements.
- Identify accounting issues, control deficiencies, and audit risks, and propose practical solutions.
- Assist in the preparation of management letters and audit reports.
Client Interaction:
- Liaise with client personnel to obtain audit information and resolve audit queries.
- Maintain professional relationships with clients throughout audit engagements.
- Support Audit Managers during client meetings and closing discussions.
Audit Planning Support:
- Participate in engagement planning, including risk assessments and understanding of clients’ businesses.
- Assist in budgeting, time management, and monitoring engagement progress.
Use of Technology:
- Utilize audit software and data analytics tools to enhance audit efficiency and quality.
- Ensure proper documentation and archiving of audit files.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline
- Minimum of 4 years post-qualification experience in an audit firm
- Professional certification (ACA/ACCA) is mandatory
- Strong knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and International Auditing Standards (IAS)
- Familiarity with automated audit software
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills
