Senior Architect
Job summary
Drives project excellence by leading the technical coordination and delivery of architectural projects from design development through to site completion. Oversees drawing coordination, contractor supervision, and on-site execution, while bringing strong design sensibility and leadership capability to bear across all project phases.

Responsibilities:
Project Coordination & Delivery:
- Converts concept designs into fully coordinated technical drawings using Revit, ensuring readiness for the construction stage.
- Coordinates technical design inputs with structural and MEP engineers, maintaining cost awareness throughout.
- Reviews drawings and documentation to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with relevant standards.
- Collaborates with the quantity surveyor in the preparation of bills of quantities, including for turnkey projects.
- Manages the tender process and administers the building contract on behalf of the client.
- Supervises contractor work on site, chairs site meetings, and prepares post-meeting communications.
- Conducts site inspections, prepares snag lists, and produces as-built drawings upon project completion.
Technical Design & Problem Solving:
- Produces and reviews detailed architectural drawings and specifications to the highest technical standard.
- Identifies and resolves technical design challenges, providing practical guidance and best-practice direction to the team.
- Monitors and integrates input from consultant team members to ensure cohesive project delivery.
Team Leadership & Mentorship:
- Leads and manages project teams across multiple concurrent engagements.
- Conducts internal design and technical reviews to uphold quality standards and studio expectations.
Client & Stakeholder Management:
- Engages with clients, consultants, and contractors across meetings, presentations, and project reviews.
- Manages client expectations while preserving design integrity and studio standards.
Site Oversight:
- Conducts regular site visits to monitor construction progress and ensure compliance with approved designs.
- Identifies and addresses site issues promptly, delivering practical, timely solutions to keep projects on track.
Documentation & Communication:
- Ensures all project communications are properly documented through official channels.
- Upholds company protocols for information management and project reporting.
Requirements:
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture from a reputable institution.
- Master’s degree in Architecture from a reputable institution.
- 6 – 10 years’ relevant experience in the architectural sector.
- Professional registration with NIA and ARCON
