Job descriptions & requirements
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and analyse monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Manage the general ledger, reconciliations, and financial reporting processes.
- Ensure compliance with IFRS, SEC regulations, and other applicable regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
- Oversee tax planning, compliance, and statutory remittances.
- Liaise with auditors, regulators, and other stakeholders.
- Monitor cash flow, treasury operations, and investment-related transactions.
- Prepare and submit regulatory returns within stipulated timelines.
- Develop and maintain strong internal controls and risk management processes.
- Support executive management with financial analysis and decision-making.
- Supervise and mentor members of the finance team.
Requirements:
- ACA/ACCA (Mandatory).
- Minimum of 7 years relevant experience.
- Capital market/asset management/stockbroking experience.
- Strong knowledge of IFRS, taxation, and regulatory compliance.
