Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review financial statements; manage month- end and year-end close.
- Maintain general ledger, reconciliations, and cash-flow management.
- Develop and monitor budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis.
- Ensure compliance with Nigerian tax regulations (VAT, PAYE, corporate tax).
- Oversee stock controls, procurement processes, and internal audit frameworks.
- Coordinate internal and external audits and manage risk improvements.
- Supervise junior accounting staff and support management with financial insights.
- Mandatory retail experience (supermarkets, pharmacies, or similar).
Rquirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.ACA, ACCA, or ICAN certification.
- 5–7 years’ experience, including at least 2 years in a senior role.
- Strong knowledge of Nigerian tax laws and accounting standards.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Excel.
