Responsibilities:
- Oversee day-to-day accounting operations and ensure the accuracy of financial records.
- Prepare, review, and analyse financial statements, reports, and supporting documentation.
- Develop, monitor, and manage budgets while supporting financial planning activities.
- Ensure compliance with applicable financial regulations, accounting standards, and internal policies.
- Reconcile accounts, monitor cash flow, and maintain the integrity of financial data.
- Provide financial analysis and recommendations to support strategic business decisions.
- Supervise, guide, and support accounting staff while performing other finance-related duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Minimum of an HND in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Extensive experience in accounting, financial reporting, and financial management.
- Strong knowledge of budgeting, taxation, account reconciliation, and financial analysis.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
- Professional accounting certification (ICAN, ACCA, or equivalent) will be an added advantage.
- Possess excellent analytical, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
