Job Summary
We are currently seeking a detail-oriented senior accountant to oversee and manage accounting tasks such as generating financial reports, conducting account reconciliations, maintaining the general ledger, preparing tax returns, facilitating audit preparations, and fulfilling other accounting responsibilities as required.

Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Ensure proper compliance with all internal policies and protocols
- Control payroll and reconcile bank statements.Â
- Oversee accounting activities, financial planning and analysis, budgeting, and internal control.Â
- Ensure all accounting activities and internal audits comply with IFRS and FIRSÂ
- Verify and ensure all transactions are accurate and in compliance with local and federal government regulations.Â
- Ensure strong accounting and operational controls to safeguard the company’s assets.Â
- Prepare profit and loss accounts and balance sheets
- Advice management on possible compliance and integrity risks
- Perform month-end reconciliation and financial analysis.Â
- Proactively assist with cost control requirements
- Monitor and ensure all applicable local taxes are charged and collected without errors.
- Review vendors’ invoices and monthly statements to ensure all expenses are processed in the system.
