Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
Financial Reporting and Analysis:
- Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement.
- Provide insights to senior management for informed decision-making.
Budgeting and Forecasting:
- Collaborate with department heads to create annual budgets and financial forecasts.
- Monitor budget performance and recommend adjustments as needed.
General Ledger Management:
- Maintain the general ledger, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
- Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies promptly.
Tax Compliance:
- Prepare and file tax returns in accordance with Nigerian tax regulations.
- Stay updated on tax laws and advise the organization on tax-saving opportunities.
Internal Controls:
- Establish and maintain strong internal controls to safeguard company assets.
- Conduct periodic audits to assess compliance.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 10 years of relevant accounting experience.
- ICAN Member (Chartered) certification.
- Age range: 37 - 45 years.
- Advantage: Experience in the Telecom Industry
- Proficiency in Sage and Zoho Books.

- Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
