The Senior 3D Modeler is responsible for developing, reviewing, and coordinating high-quality 3D models to support engineering design, construction, and project execution. The role provides technical expertise in 3D modeling tools, ensures model accuracy and compliance with project standards, and supports multidisciplinary coordination.

Job descriptions & requirements
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain detailed 3D models in line with project specifications and design standards.
- Create and update 3D models for piping, equipment, structural, and layout disciplines as required.
- Ensure models are clash-free and coordinated with all engineering disciplines.
- Generate 2D drawings, isometrics, and material take-offs from 3D models.
- Review and check models prepared by junior modelers and designers.
- Implement project modeling standards, procedures, and naming conventions.
- Participate in model reviews, constructability, and design coordination meetings.
- Support engineering, construction, and fabrication teams with accurate model data.
- Manage model revisions and ensure timely incorporation of design changes.
- Maintain model databases and ensure data integrity throughout the project lifecycle.
Requirements:
- HND or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Design, or related discipline.
- Minimum of 12 - 15 years experience in leading mechanical engineering design.
- Strong proficiency in 3D modeling software such as PDMS, SP3D, E3D, AutoCAD Plant 3D, or similar tools.
- Solid understanding of piping, equipment, and plant layout principles.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings, P&IDs, and specifications.
- Experience in multidisciplinary coordination and clash detection.
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Good communication skills and ability to mentor junior modelers.
