Security Guard

Responsibilities:

• Maintain order and safety in and around the company premises
• Controlling the entrance and departure of employees, visitors and vehicles according to protocols
• Control access points and ensure only authorized persons enter restricted areas
• Verify identification and credentials of employees, contractors, and visitors.
• Prevent theft, pilferage, and damage to company property
• Patrol premises regularly to identify and address risks
• Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, or unusual activity
• Enforce company security procedures and report breaches immediately
• Document and report all security incidents, breaches, and hazards to the management.
• Conduct routine inspections of the premises, including locks, windows, and equipment, to ensure everything is secure.
• Greet and assist employees and visitors with a professional and friendly behavior.

Requirements:

• Minimum of OND or SSCE.
• High level of personal integrity, honesty, and discipline
• Prior experience in a similar role is an added advantage
• Strong physical appearance with stamina for standing, patrolling, and handling security duties
• Alert, reliable, and observant with good reporting skills
• Able to work shifts, including nights, weekends, and public holidays
• Good communication skills and team spirit
• Must be resident in Enugu.
