Security Personnel

Responsibilities:

• Guard company premises and ensure the safety of employees, visitors, and property.
• Conduct routine patrols of assigned areas to detect and prevent unauthorized activities.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verifying the identity of visitors and contractors.
• Prevent theft, vandalism, trespassing, and other security breaches.
• Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, and security incidents.
• Screen visitors and maintain visitor logs.
• Inspect bags, vehicles, and deliveries where required in accordance with company policies.
• Ensure only authorized personnel have access to restricted areas.
• Monitor CCTV systems and report suspicious activities where applicable.
• Report accidents, suspicious activities, security breaches, and emergencies promptly.
• Prepare accurate daily occurrence reports and incident reports.
• Assist law enforcement or emergency responders when necessary.
• Maintain detailed records of security activities and observations.
• Enforce company safety and security policies.
• Respond effectively to emergencies such as fire outbreaks, medical emergencies, or evacuations.
• Assist in implementing emergency response procedures.
• Report potential safety hazards to management.
• Provide courteous assistance and directions to visitors and staff.
• Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times.
• Represent the company positively while carrying out security duties.

Requirements:

• Minimum of SSCE or equivalent.
• Previous experience as a Security Guard, Security Officer, or in a similar role is an added advantage.
• Good physical fitness and ability to stand or patrol for extended periods.
• Strong observation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle emergencies effectively.
• High level of integrity, discipline, and professionalism.
• Ability to write clear and accurate reports.
• Willingness to work day, night, weekend, and public holiday shifts.
