Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Security Officer based in Ikeja. The Security Officer will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of people, property, and premises. Daily tasks include patrolling designated areas, monitoring surveillance equipment, inspecting buildings or entry points, recording occurrences, reporting irregularities, and responding promptly to emergencies.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in surveillance and observation skills
- Knowledge of security protocols and emergency response procedures
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to remain calm and make decisive actions in high-pressure situations
- Physical fitness and the ability to perform duties that may require prolonged standing or physical exertion
- Basic computer skills, including familiarity with security monitoring software
- Previous experience in a security role is an advantage
- Relevant training or certifications in security management preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent required
