Security Manager

Our client is a leading agribusiness and food company with operations spanning sourcing, processing, manufacturing, and distribution. As part of the global Group, the company plays a key role in Nigeria’s food production and supply chain, with a strong focus on quality, innovation, and sustainability.

We are currently looking to employ a competent and experienced Security Manager and Security Officer for Kaduna and Ilorin to strengthen the company's operations and ensure the safety of our people, assets, and facilities.

Our preferred profile is ex-military personnel or ex-police officers with a higher rank or equivalent to a Lt Col.

Role Description

The Security Manager (SM) will be responsible for coordinating all the security affairs of the company and ensuring the safety of all staff and company properties. Generally, the Security Manager will be responsible for creating and maintaining a safe environment within a company, which involves ensuring the protection of the company’s assets and employees. Below are the key roles of the Security Manager for Rice Farm.

The Security Officer will support the Company's security architecture by maintaining a safe and secure environment, monitoring access and activities, responding to security incidents, and adhering to corporate security standards and procedures.

Qualifications

• Proven experience of at least 8 years as a Security Manager or a similar role
• Thorough knowledge of security protocols and procedures
• Strong leadership and organizational skills
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• Ability to work well under pressure and handle emergency situations
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Attention to detail and strong analytical skills
• Ability to adapt to changing security threats and technologies
• Relevant certifications in security management are preferred
• A bachelor's degree in a related field is required.
• Proficiency in Hausa Language &
• Preferably be from Northern states / served in Northern States.
