Responsibilities:Requirements:
- Patrol assigned areas to ensure the safety and security of the premises.
- Monitor surveillance equipment and inspect buildings and access points for any signs of compromise.
- Respond promptly to alarms and incidents, assessing situations and taking appropriate actions.
- Interact with visitors and staff, providing assistance as needed while maintaining a professional demeanor.
- Prepare and submit detailed reports on daily activities, incidents, and any security breaches observed.
- Enforce policies and regulations regarding personnel and property to prevent unauthorised access and disturbances.
- Provide support during emergency situations, following protocols for evacuation or lockdown as necessary.
- An OND or equivalent is required; additional certification in security training is preferred.
- Proven experience as a security guard or in a similar role in security and investigations.
- Strong observational skills and attention to detail to identify potential security risks.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to relay information clearly and effectively.
- Ability to remain calm and composed in stressful situations and emergencies.
- Knowledge of security operations and procedures, including emergency response protocols.
- Physical fitness and the ability to stand or walk for long periods, as well as willingness to work varied shifts.
