Security Guard

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and control access at estate gates and entry/exit points.
• Verify resident passes, visitor information, and vehicle details before granting access.
• Record and maintain accurate logs of visitors, vehicles, and security incidents
• Conduct routine foot patrols around the estate and its perimeter
• Remain alert and identify suspicious or unusual activities.
• Monitor and operate basic security and gate-control equipment
• Respond promptly to security incidents, emergencies, and disturbances.
• Assist in managing fire outbreaks, medical emergencies, crowd control, and other emergencies.
• Enforce estate security rules and regulations
• Maintain a professional and courteous attitude when interacting with residents, visitors, and colleagues
• Report security breaches, incidents, and unusual occurrences to the appropriate supervisor
• Work assigned day and night shifts and maintain strict punctuality.
• Carry out other security-related duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Minimum of an SSCE with a credit in English language
• Must be between 20 and 35 years old.
• Minimum height of 5 ft 8 inches (173 cm) for male candidates.
• Must be physically fit and able to stand and patrol for extended periods.
• Good eyesight and general physical fitness.
• Valid Nigerian identification such as a National ID Card, Driver’s Licence, or Voter’s Card.
• Must be able to provide two verifiable guarantors based in Lagos, preferably civil servants, community leaders, or established business owners.
• Must be willing to undergo background and medical checks.
• Clean criminal record is required.
• Ability to speak, read, and write English, and understand Nigerian Pidgin English.
• Basic ability to operate walkie-talkies, smart devices, and automated gate systems is an advantage.

Remuneration: NGN 70,000 -  85,000 Monthly
