Role Description

The Sector Sales Manager - Utilities & Petrochemical will be responsible for -


Managing accounts (TCN, Discos, NNPC, refineries)

Creating multi-year agreements.

Executing sector penetration strategies.

Forecasting revenue.


Key tasks include to drive revenue in the two largest sectors by capturing high value institutional clients, identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, maintaining existing customer accounts, developing sales strategies, preparing proposals, and working closely with the technical teams to provide customer-focused solutions. The role also involves staying informed about industry trends and ensuring client satisfaction through effective communication and service delivery.


Qualifications

  • Strong Industrial sales and business development skills, focusing on Utilities and Petrochemical sectors
  • Proficiency in Executive relationship management, negotiation, and communication
  • Ability to develop/negotiate Tenders and execute strategic sales plans and market analysis
  • Technical knowledge of engineering products and solutions, particularly within electrical and mechanical disciplines
  • Experience in team collaboration and cross-functional coordination
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field
  • Proven experience in a sales management role within the utilities or petrochemical industry
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to a dynamic work environment
  • Proficiency with CRM tools and sales tracking systems is an added advantage
