Job Summary

The Secretary to the CEO will provide high-level administrative, organizational, and communication support to the Chief Executive Officer. This role requires excellent command of the English language, strong administrative abilities, and proficiency in professional emailing and correspondence. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented and proactive.

Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the CEO’s daily schedule, appointments, and calendar activities.
  • Draft, proofread, and edit emails, letters, memos, and other forms of communication on behalf of the CEO.
  • Coordinate meetings, prepare meeting agendas, and take accurate minutes.
  • Organize travel arrangements, itineraries, and logistics as required.
  • Maintain an efficient filing and documentation system (digital and physical).
  • Screen and prioritize incoming requests, calls, and messages for the CEO.
  • Assist with the preparation of reports, presentations, and official documents.
  • Liaise with internal departments, external stakeholders, and partners professionally.
  • Handle confidential information with integrity and discretion.
  • Perform other administrative tasks to ensure smooth office operations.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Administration, Secretarial Studies, English, or a related field (preferred).
  • Proven experience as an executive secretary, administrative assistant, or similar role.
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English.
  • Strong email etiquette and proficiency in professional correspondence.
  • Outstanding organizational and time-management skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and email platforms.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • High level of professionalism, confidentiality, and attention to detail.
