We are a growing, mission-driven Christian secondary school located in the Ogunmakin region, dedicated to providing high-quality and transformative education to our community. As we undergo an exciting expansion to double our student capacity, we are actively seeking a passionate, dedicated, and qualified Secondary School Teacher (Arts).

Job descriptions & requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and deliver comprehensive, engaging lesson plans in your respective subject area, aligned with the national curriculum (WAEC/NECO).
  • Administer tests, examinations, and continuous assessments to evaluate and track student progress.
  • Maintain excellent classroom management and enforce school discipline in a manner consistent with our Christian values.
  • Keep accurate administrative records, including attendance registers, grading books, and student performance reports.
  • Identify students who require extra help and provide necessary academic support and mentorship.
  • Actively participate in staff meetings, professional development workshops, and parent-teacher conferences.
  • Collaborate with other teachers and school management to foster a positive, holistic learning environment for all students in the Ogunmakin region.


Requirements:

  • Minimum of an H.N.D in the relevant subject area. A Post Graduate Diploma in Education (PGDE) is highly advantageous.
  • Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience at the secondary school level.
  • Deep knowledge and mastery of the specific subject you are applying to teach.
  • High moral standards, integrity, and a willingness to work within a faith-based, Christian educational framework.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Willingness to relocate to or commute within the Ogunmakin region (Free staff accommodation is provided).
  • Registration with the Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria (TRCN) is an added advantage.
