Role Overview
Dang Lifestyle is seeking a results-driven and data-oriented SEO Specialist to lead the development and execution of our search engine optimization strategy. This role will be responsible for improving organic visibility, driving qualified traffic, and increasing online conversions across our digital platforms.
The ideal candidate understands both technical SEO and content strategy, and can align SEO initiatives with business goals across Nigeria and international markets.
Key Responsibilities1. SEO Strategy & Execution
- Develop and implement comprehensive SEO strategies to improve search rankings and organic traffic.
- Conduct keyword research aligned with product categories, campaigns, and customer intent.
- Optimize website architecture, on-page elements, and content for search visibility.
2. Technical SEO
- Conduct regular site audits to identify and resolve technical issues (crawl errors, indexing issues, site speed, mobile optimization).
- Collaborate with developers (e.g., Shopify team) to implement SEO best practices.
- Ensure website compliance with search engine guidelines and evolving algorithms.
3. Content Optimization
- Work closely with the Content and Marketing teams to optimize blog posts, product pages, and landing pages.
- Provide SEO briefs and keyword strategies for content creation.
- Ensure all content aligns with brand voice while maximizing search performance.
4. Performance Tracking & Reporting
- Monitor SEO performance using tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and SEO platforms (e.g., SEMrush, Ahrefs).
- Provide regular reports on traffic, rankings, and conversion metrics.
- Analyze competitor performance and identify growth opportunities.
5. Link Building & Off-Page SEO
- Develop and execute link-building strategies to improve domain authority.
- Build partnerships with relevant platforms, blogs, and influencers.
6. E-commerce Optimization
- Optimize product listings, collections, and category pages for search visibility.
- Improve conversion rates through SEO-driven insights.
- Support international SEO efforts for expansion into new markets (UK, US, Africa).
Key Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field.
- 3–5 years of proven experience in SEO (preferably within e-commerce or lifestyle/beauty brands).
- Strong knowledge of on-page, off-page, and technical SEO.
- Experience with SEO tools (e.g., SEMrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog).
- Familiarity with Shopify or similar CMS platforms.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret data into actionable insights.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with international SEO and multi-region targeting.
- Understanding of beauty, skincare, or lifestyle industries.
- Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and web performance optimization.
