Job summary
The receptionist is the first point of contact at our salon, responsible for creating a warm and professional welcome for clients. This role manages appointments, handles calls and messages, processes payments, and supports smooth daily operations. A friendly attitude, strong communication skills, and excellent customer service are essential.

Responsibilities:
- Greet clients warmly and ensure they feel welcomed and attended to
- Manage the salon’s appointment system, schedule, confirm, and adjust bookings
- Answer phone calls, respond to messages, and handle client inquiries promptly
- Keep reception and waiting areas clean, organised, and inviting
- Coordinate client check-in and check-out, including processing payments
- Keep accurate records of client visits and update the client database
- Support stylists and management with daily administrative tasks
- Promote salon services, retail products, and ongoing promotions
- Handle customer complaints or concerns professionally and promptly escalate when needed
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a customer-facing or reception role (salon/spa experience is an advantage)
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Good organisational and multitasking abilities
- Professional appearance and demeanour
- Comfortable using booking software or digital scheduling tools
- Basic computer skills (email, spreadsheets, POS systems)
- Friendly, proactive, and customer-service oriented
- Minimum of OND or equivalent education
