Responsibilities:
Operational Management:
- Oversee daily salon operations, ensuring efficiency, professionalism, and exceptional guest experience.
- Manage staff schedules, appointments, and client bookings.
- Supervise hairstylists, nail technicians, assistants, and support staff.
- Maintain product and supply inventory; manage procurement and vendor relationships.
- Ensure all services meet hygiene, safety, and brand quality standards.
- Track daily and monthly sales, commissions, and performance metrics.
- Support management in pricing strategy, marketing promotions, and service development.
Client Service & Styling:
- Deliver high-quality hairstyling, cutting, coloring, and treatments to clients.
- Conduct professional consultations to understand client needs and recommend suitable services or products.
- Stay updated with the latest trends, color techniques, and product innovations.
- Maintain a consistent standard of excellence and professionalism in all client interactions.
Team Leadership & Development:
- Foster a motivated, service-driven, and collaborative team culture.
- Provide ongoing mentorship, feedback, and performance evaluations for salon staff.
- Organize or recommend training sessions to enhance staff skills and product knowledge.
- Ensure a positive work environment that promotes respect, teamwork, and growth.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of professional hairstyling experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or management position.
- Strong technical skills in cutting, coloring, styling, and hair treatments (experience with natural and relaxed hair preferred).
- Proven leadership ability with strong people management and communication skills.
- Experience in salon administration, scheduling, and basic bookkeeping or reporting.
- Familiarity with salon software systems (Fresha, GlossGenius, or similar) preferred.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Customer-service mindset and a passion for creating memorable experiences.
- Must be based in Akure or willing to relocate.
