Job summary

We are seeking a professional Salon Manager who will be responsible for overseeing daily activities to ensure seamless operations, exceptional service delivery, and high levels of customer satisfaction. The role requires a hands-on professional who can perform hair services when needed, manage bookings and operations using digital tools, and communicate confidently with a diverse clientele, including older clients. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in salon management, be tech-savvy, and possess strong interpersonal skills, along with the emotional intelligence necessary to deliver excellent customer service and lead a productive salon team.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily salon operations by coordinating staff schedules, managing service flow, supervising opening and closing procedures, and ensuring all operational processes run seamlessly and efficiently throughout the day.
  • Maintain high standards of staff appearance and readiness by ensuring all team members are well-groomed, properly dressed, punctual, and fully prepared to deliver services in line with the salon’s brand image and professional standards.
  • Prepare proactively for client appointments by reviewing booking schedules in advance, allocating appropriate stylists or therapists, confirming availability of tools, products, and treatment rooms, and ensuring personalized client preferences are noted and met.
  • Create and sustain a customer-centric environment by promptly addressing client inquiries, managing feedback, and resolving complaints professionally and empathetically to ensure a consistently positive client experience.
  • Ensure timely and exceptional service delivery by monitoring wait times, managing workflow during peak periods, and stepping in where necessary to prevent delays and uphold service excellence.
  • Conduct regular staff check-ins and team meetings to reinforce salon policies, work ethics, service standards, and performance expectations, while also providing clarity, motivation, and continuous support.
  • Provide strong leadership and day-to-day guidance to salon staff by coaching team members, addressing performance gaps, encouraging diligence, and fostering a culture of accountability, excellence, and teamwork.
  • Review and monitor client services and orders to ensure treatments are delivered accurately, safely, and to the highest quality standards, with a strong focus on consistency, hygiene, and client satisfaction.
  • Implement and manage client feedback systems, including reviews, surveys, and follow-up communication, analyzing insights to identify improvement areas and implement strategies that enhance service quality and client retention.
  • Manage conflicts and sensitive situations effectively by de-escalating issues involving clients or staff and applying appropriate corrective actions
  • Other responsibilities as assigned by management.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mass Communication, Business Administration or a related field.
  • 3 years of professional experience in beauty operations.
  • Previous experience as a salon manager is essential.
