Job summary
We are looking to hire a Sales Representative who will play a crucial role in driving sales growth by promoting and selling the company’s logistics services to potential clients.

Sales & Business Development:
- Identify potential customers and generate new leads through cold calling, networking, and market research.
- Present and promote logistics services, including transportation, warehousing, supply chain management, and freight forwarding, tailored to meet the specific needs of clients.
- Negotiate contracts and pricing with clients to secure profitable deals.
- Maintain and manage an active sales pipeline, ensuring timely follow-ups and successful closure of sales.
Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with customers, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and retention.
- Regularly check in with existing customers to identify opportunities for additional services or upselling.
- Address and resolve any concerns or issues raised by clients promptly and professionally.
Market Intelligence:
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitor offerings, and market conditions to effectively position the company’s services.
- Analyze customer needs and provide tailored logistics solutions that enhance client satisfaction.
Collaboration with Internal Teams:
- Work closely with operations, customer service, and other teams to ensure smooth delivery of services to clients.
- Collaborate with the pricing and finance teams to ensure competitive pricing strategies align with company objectives.
Sales Reporting & Documentation:
- Keep precise and current records of sales activities, opportunities, and customer details in the company’s CRM system.
- Regularly provide sales forecasts, reports, and updates to management regarding performance in relation to targets.
Requirements:
- Education: A bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Logistics, or a related field is often preferred but not always necessary.
- Experience: 1-2 years of experience in sales, ideally within the logistics, transportation, or supply chain management sectors.
- Sales Skills: Excellent negotiation, persuasion, and communication abilities, with a knack for quickly building rapport with clients.
- Customer-Focused: A strong emphasis on understanding customer needs and providing effective solutions
- Product Knowledge: Familiarity with logistics services, including freight forwarding, warehousing, transportation, and supply chain management.
- Analytical Skills: Capability to evaluate customer needs, grasp market trends, and propose strategic sales methods.
- Time Management: Proficient in handling multiple prospects and clients while effectively prioritizing tasks
