Sales Representative
Job summary
The Sales Representative is responsible for promoting and selling the company’s products or services, building strong customer relationships, and achieving sales targets. The role involves identifying new business opportunities, maintaining existing client accounts, and providing excellent customer service to drive revenue growth.
Job descriptions & requirements
- Identify and pursue new sales leads and business opportunities
- Present and demonstrate products/services to customers
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and key accounts
- Negotiate pricing and terms, and close sales agreements
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities and customer data
- Prepare sales reports and forecasts for management
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and after-sales support
- Collaborate with marketing and operations teams to improve sales performance
- Minimum of SSCE/OND/HND/Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field
- Proven experience in sales or customer-facing roles (preferred)
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and meet sales targets
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with CRM systems (an advantage)
- Willingness to travel or work in the field when required
