Sales Operations Manager
Job summary
The candidate is responsible for driving revenue growth in the company by leading the sales team, increasing customer acquisition, and ensuring strong credit-based sales performance. Responsibilities:
- Drive aggressive merchant acquisition by identifying, prospecting, and onboarding high-value retail partners in mobile phones sales.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with merchants to ensure repeat business, retention, and increased transaction value.
- Work closely with credit and risk teams to ensure quality sales and minimize default risks from customers.
- Lead, supervise, and motivate the sales team to meet and exceed performance goals through continuous coaching, field support, and performance tracking.
- Conduct market penetration activities, including field visits, activations, and on-ground campaigns to drive visibility and usage.
- Develop and execute sales strategies to increase BNPL adoption across key markets and territories.
- Monitor sales, conversion rates, and team performance; provide regular reports and insights to senior management.
- Ensure proper onboarding of merchants, including documentation, training, and alignment with company policies.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
- 3–5+ years of sales manager experience, preferably in fintech, BNPL (Buy Now Pay Later), or financial services.
- Proven experience in driving sales and meeting sales targets.
- Strong interpersonal skills, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
