Our client is looking for a vibrant Sales and Marketing Executive will be responsible for driving sales growth, expanding distribution coverage, and executing marketing initiatives that increase brand visibility and market share.

Job descriptions & requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Identify, onboard, and manage distributors, wholesalers, retailers, and key accounts within assigned territories.
  • Drive daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets across traditional and modern trade channels.
  • Ensure effective product availability, visibility, and stock rotation at the point of sale.
  • Monitor competitor activities, pricing, and market trends and provide timely feedback to management.
  • Execute trade marketing activities such as in-store promotions, sampling, activations, and merchandising.
  • Support the rollout of marketing campaigns to build brand awareness and consumer engagement.
  • Ensure consistent brand representation across all sales outlets.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors and retail partners.
  • Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback promptly and professionally.
  • Support credit management and ensure timely collections where applicable
  • Prepare regular sales reports, territory performance updates, and market intelligence insights.
  • Track sales performance against targets and recommend corrective actions where necessary.
  • Maintain accurate sales records and customer databases.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or HND in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2–5 years of experience in sales and marketing within FMCG, preferably food & beverage or frozen products.
  • Experience managing distributors and field sales operations is an advantage.
  • Strong sales negotiation and persuasion skills
  • Good understanding of the Nigerian FMCG market
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and meet targets in a field-based role
