Role Description
The Sales Manager role involves driving revenue growth for a technology-driven, out-of-home (OOH) advertising marketplace platform, requiring a strategic approach to selling billboard, digital, and programmatic campaigns to agencies and brands.
Key Responsibilities:
- Revenue Generation: Driving sales through direct sales to brands and partnerships with advertising agencies.
- Team Leadership: Hiring, managing, coaching, and mentoring a team of sales professionals/account executives, often focusing on Enterprise Accounts.
- Strategic Planning: Developing and executing sales strategies to meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual targets.
- Client Relationship Management: Building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders, handling negotiations, and ensuring high-value client retention.
- Market Analysis & Data-Driven Selling: Utilizing proprietary data and audience insights to pitch, optimize, and prove ROI for OOH campaigns.
- Sales Process Optimization: Streamlining the sales cycle from lead generation to campaign booking.
Experience: 4–5+ years of experience in sales, business development or media planning and buying in a recognised media/advertising agency.
