Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Build strong relationships with key customers
- Find new clients through cold calls, networking, and referrals
- Create growth plans and sales strategies
- Oversee sales operations and customer service tasks
- Guide and support new sales team members
- Keep accurate records of sales, clients, and team performance
- Help team answer technical questions from customers
- Analyse sales data to improve strategies
- Research competitors and market trends
- Handle bids, tenders, and contract negotiations
- Prepare quotations and pricing
- Attend trade shows and marketing events
- Submit regular sales and procurement reports
- Coordinate project bids and technical specifications
- Monitor billing, collections, and progress of work
- Support procurement duties to drive growth
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field
- Professional certification in Sales, Business Development, or Procurement is a plus
- Not less than 5 years experience in outdoor sales, client acquisition, or business development with a strong track record of meeting or exceeding targets in the oil and gas industry, especially in Marine, Pipes, fittings and flanges, Electrical and instrumentation, and Valves and Actuator products.
- Proven leadership or supervisory experience in a sales team
- Strong Proficiency in CRM software
- Familiarity with tendering processes and procurement systems
- Experience with video conferencing and remote collaboration tools
- Competence in using MS Office Suite for reporting and documentation
- Strong understanding of the company’s products/services and competitive landscape
- Ability to prepare quotations and analyse market trends
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills
- Effective problem-solving and decision-making capabilities
- Leadership and team mentorship qualities
- Analytical thinking and strategic planning
- High level of time management, organisation skills and attention to detail

Remuneration: NGN 500,000 – 800,000 Monthly Gross
