The Business Manager will be responsible for leading and executing the brand’s sales strategy to drive revenue growth and market expansion. This role requires a leader who can manage people, build and maintain key client relationships, identify new business opportunities, and ensure consistent performance across team.

Job descriptions & requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies aligned with business growth objectives.
  • Drive revenue targets across retail stores, wholesale partners, and online channels.
  • Lead, mentor, and manage the sales team to achieve monthly and quarterly targets.
  • Identify and onboard new distribution partners, stockists, and corporate clients.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and consumer behavior within the fashion and lifestyle sector.
  • Collaborate with marketing to execute product launches and promotional campaigns.
  • Oversee inventory planning in collaboration with operations to prevent stock-outs or overstocking.
  • Analyze sales performance data and provide actionable insights to senior management.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and high-value accounts.
  • Ensure exceptional in-store customer experience and brand representation standards.


Requirements:

  • Strong knowledge of the Nigerian fashion retail landscape.
  • Experience managing multi-channel sales (retail, wholesale, e-commerce).
  • Sales forecasting and budgeting expertise.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems and sales analytics tools.
  • Inventory and demand planning knowledge.
  • Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel and reporting capabilities.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Management, or related field.
  • Minimum of 4–6 years’ sales experience, with at least 2 years in a managerial role within fashion, lifestyle, or retail.
  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding revenue targets.
  • Experience managing sales teams and multi-location operations is an advantage.
