Our client is a Full Service Media Agency operating out of Lagos and that combines cutting-edge research tools, global expertise and a 20/20 vision on each brand, to develop winning creative and digital communication strategies as well as effective media buying solutions for its numerous clients. As a result of of ongoing strategic expansion of its operations, the company seeks to engage an Out-of-Home (OOH) Sales Executive.
Role Description
The OOH Sales Executive is responsible for driving revenue growth by identifying, developing, and closing sales opportunities across billboard advertising, LED screens, transit media, and other outdoor advertising formats. The role involves prospecting new clients, managing existing accounts, preparing proposals, negotiating contracts, and ensuring campaign execution in line with client expectations. The ideal candidate must have strong knowledge of the Nigerian advertising landscape, agency relationships, and direct brand marketing structures.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and prospect new clients including brands, agencies, SMEs, political campaigns and NGOs.
- Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of potential advertisers.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with advertising agencies and brand managers.
- Prepare media proposals, negotiate rates and close contracts.
- Liaise with operations team for site booking and campaign execution.
- Monitor campaign performance and provide proof-of-posting / execution.
- Track revenue performance against targets and prepare weekly sales reports.
- Monitor competitor activities and provide market intelligence.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business Administration, Mass Communication or related field.
- 2–5 years’ experience in advertising sales, media sales or OOH marketing (Nigerian
- market preferred).
- Strong network within advertising agencies and brand marketing teams.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Excellent negotiation and presentation skills.
- Understanding of Nigerian outdoor advertising regulations (LASAA, APCON and state bodies).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint and Word
