Job summary

We are seeking a results-driven and customer-focused Sales Executive to join our automobile sales team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for generating leads, building strong customer relationships, promoting our range of vehicles, and achieving sales targets. The successful candidate should have excellent communication, negotiation, and closing skills, with a passion for sales and customer satisfaction.

Job descriptions & requirements

Responsibilities:

Sales & Business Development:

  • Identify and pursue new sales opportunities through prospecting, referrals, networking, and digital platforms.
  • Build and maintain a strong pipeline of prospective customers.
  • Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
  • Conduct showroom and virtual presentations of available vehicles.
  • Understand customers' needs and recommend suitable vehicle options.


Customer Relationship Management:

  • Develop and maintain long-term relationships with customers.
  • Follow up on inquiries, quotations, and sales opportunities.
  • Ensure excellent customer service before, during, and after the sales process.
  • Handle customer complaints professionally and ensure timely resolution.
  • Encourage repeat business and referrals from existing customers.


Sales Administration:

  • Prepare quotations, sales agreements, and other sales documentation.
  • Maintain accurate customer records and update the CRM system.
  • Coordinate with the finance and operations teams to ensure smooth vehicle delivery.
  • Assist customers with financing options, vehicle registration, and documentation where applicable.


Market Intelligence:

  • Monitor competitor activities, pricing, and market trends.
  • Identify new business opportunities within corporate and individual markets.
  • Provide management with customer feedback and market insights.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree, HND, or OND in Business Administration, Marketing, or any related field.
  • Minimum of 2–5 years of experience in automobile sales, luxury retail sales, or a similar sales role.
  • Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong negotiation and closing skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Customer-focused with strong relationship management abilities.
  • Self-motivated, target-driven, and able to work independently.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software is an advantage.
  • A valid driver's license is an added advantage.

Remuneration: NGN 200,000 – 500,000 (based on experience).
