Job Title: Sales Executive (Lubricant)
Location: Sokoto
Key Responsibilities
•
Develop and implement sales strategies to promote industrial and automotive lubricant products.
•
Identify new business opportunities across factories, manufacturing plants, workshops, transport/logistics firms, and automotive dealerships.
•
Handle client inquiries, negotiate pricing, and close sales deals.
•
Provide after-sales support and ensure customer satisfaction.
•
Conduct regular market visits to monitor competitor activities, pricing, and new product offerings.
•
Manage relationships with distributors, retailers, auto-part sellers, and lubricant resellers.
•
Monitor product availability in assigned territories and ensure proper merchandising.
•
Support promotional campaigns and trade marketing activities.
•
Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients while providing exceptional customer service by promptly addressing inquiries and resolving issues.
•
Possess in-depth knowledge of the features, benefits, and applications of the lubricants, and educate dealers, riders, and Mechanics about the technical aspects
•
Ensure market awareness, keep updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments, and report the same.
•
Carry out training for all Lube Customer Service Attendants.
•
Drive Secondary sales in the market
•
Create awareness for the availability of Lube products to both current and prospective customers.
•
Understand business activities, customer needs, and provide advice on products and services
•
Supervise distributors and wholesalers for their stock replenishments.
•
Ensuring growth and a structured distribution network for the lubricant business in the territory
•
Conduct regular customer visits and offer training to dealers, resellers, and end customers on safe product handling and usage.
Requirements
•
Graduate in Chemical Engineering, Automobile Engineering, or any other discipline
•
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in lubricant sales
•
Experience in Industrial Lubricants or Automobile Lubricants (Aftermarket or B2B)
•
Must have direct engagement experience with lubricant stockists, wholesalers, and retailers in their current role
