- The Sales Engineer will work closely with the sales team and clients to understand business needs, translate technical solutions into clear value propositions, and support the entire sales cycle.
- Daily activities include preparing and delivering product demonstrations, responding to technical inquiries, providing pre- and post-sales technical support, and assisting in proposal development and solution design.
- Engaging with customers on-site, gathering feedback for continuous improvement, and collaborating with internal teams to ensure solutions are feasible and aligned with client requirements.
- The Sales Engineer will maintain accurate records of client interactions, support customer training sessions, and help meet sales targets.
Requirements:
- B.Sc. in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or related field
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in sales engineering or technical sales
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Strong knowledge of engineering products and systems within the Manufacturing and Oil & Gas sectors, including valves, pumps, compressors, pipelines, turbines, and automation.
- Solid understanding of industrial processes
- Strong capacity to recommend cost-effective and technically sound solutions based on client needs and operational challenges
- Familiarity with installation, maintenance, and lifecycle performance of industrial equipment
- Strong negotiation and commercial awareness (pricing, margins, contracts)
- Excellent client relationship management skills (especially with engineers, procurement teams, and decision-makers)
- Ability to translate complex technical concepts into business value propositions
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
- Experience with CRM tools, sales forecasting, and pipeline management
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
