Job Summary

We are a leading international manufacturer of advanced packaging machinery and commercial-grade ovens, with a registered Nigerian entity and operational warehouse in Lagos. To accelerate our growth across West Africa, we seek ambitious Sales Engineers with proven experience in industrial equipment sales.

Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Product Promotion: Showcase our machinery portfolio through targeted online/offline channels (e.g., industry platforms, LinkedIn, and trade portals like Jiji.ng).
  • Client Engagement: Promptly respond to inquiries, conduct needs analysis, and deliver technical solutions to B2B clients (manufacturers, FMCG, hospitality sectors).
  • Sales Target Execution: Drive revenue growth by converting leads, negotiating contracts, and achieving quarterly sales KPIs.
  • Market Intelligence: Monitor competitor activity and industry trends to identify new business opportunities
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Coordinate with technical and logistics teams to ensure seamless post-sales support.
  • Professional Development: Actively participate in technical training on machinery specifications and sales methodologies.



Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum 1–3 years in B2B sales of industrial machinery (packaging/food processing equipment preferred).
  • Technical Aptitude: Ability to comprehend mechanical specifications and articulate technical value propositions.
  • Digital Proficiency: Demonstrated success in leveraging online platforms for lead generation.
  • Age Range: 21–35 years (flexible for exceptional candidates).
  • Core Traits: Self-motivated, target-driven, and adaptable to dynamic markets. Excellent negotiation and presentation skills.
  • Location: Lagos-based or willing to relocate. Knowledge of the Nigerian industrial landscape is essential.
