Job summary

We seek to hire Sales Engineers to drive revenue growth by promoting and selling engineering solutions to clients in the oil & gas and manufacturing sectors. The ideal candidates will combine technical expertise with strong commercial acumen to identify client needs, recommend suitable solutions, and build long-term business relationships.

Job descriptions & requirements

 Responsibilities:

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities within the oil & gas and manufacturing sectors
  • Promote and sell engineering products and solutions, including valves, pumps, compressors, pipelines, turbines, and automation systems
  • Understand client requirements and recommend cost-effective, technically sound solutions
  • Prepare and deliver technical presentations and proposals
  • Manage client relationships, including engineers, procurement teams, and key decision-makers
  • Negotiate pricing, contracts, and commercial terms
  • Monitor sales performance, forecasts, and pipeline activity using CRM tools
  • Provide after-sales support and ensure customer satisfaction
  • Stay updated on industry trends, products, and competitor activities


Requirements:

  • B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field
  • 3–5 years’ experience in sales engineering or technical sales
  • Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets
  • Strong knowledge of industrial equipment and systems used in oil & gas and manufacturing
  • Solid understanding of industrial processes and equipment lifecycle (installation, maintenance, performance)
  • Strong negotiation and commercial skills
  • Excellent communication and relationship management skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • Experience with CRM tools and sales pipeline management
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities


Remuneration: NGN 400,000
