Sales Engineer
Job summary
We seek to hire Sales Engineers to drive revenue growth by promoting and selling engineering solutions to clients in the oil & gas and manufacturing sectors. The ideal candidates will combine technical expertise with strong commercial acumen to identify client needs, recommend suitable solutions, and build long-term business relationships.

Responsibilities:
- Identify and develop new business opportunities within the oil & gas and manufacturing sectors
- Promote and sell engineering products and solutions, including valves, pumps, compressors, pipelines, turbines, and automation systems
- Understand client requirements and recommend cost-effective, technically sound solutions
- Prepare and deliver technical presentations and proposals
- Manage client relationships, including engineers, procurement teams, and key decision-makers
- Negotiate pricing, contracts, and commercial terms
- Monitor sales performance, forecasts, and pipeline activity using CRM tools
- Provide after-sales support and ensure customer satisfaction
- Stay updated on industry trends, products, and competitor activities
Requirements:
- B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field
- 3–5 years’ experience in sales engineering or technical sales
- Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets
- Strong knowledge of industrial equipment and systems used in oil & gas and manufacturing
- Solid understanding of industrial processes and equipment lifecycle (installation, maintenance, performance)
- Strong negotiation and commercial skills
- Excellent communication and relationship management skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
- Experience with CRM tools and sales pipeline management
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Remuneration: NGN 400,000
