Job Description – Sales Director (Distribution Business)
Region: Middle East, Africa & Central Asia
We are looking for an experienced Sales Director to lead and drive the distribution business strategy across Middle East, Africa, and Central Asia. This role is responsible for building and scaling distributor networks, driving sustainable revenue growth, and strengthening market presence across multiple countries and diverse markets. The ideal candidate has strong distribution management experience in consumer electronics, mobile phones, or home appliances, with proven exposure to MEA regional markets.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the regional distribution strategy for Middle East, Africa, and Central Asia, aligned with overall business objectives
- Build, manage, and optimize multi-country distributor and channel partner networks
- Drive sales growth, market penetration, and channel efficiency across assigned markets
- Lead distributor selection, onboarding, performance management, and capability development
- Work closely with Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance, and Product teams to ensure effective go-to-market execution
- Define and monitor key KPIs including sales targets, inventory turnover, pricing discipline, and channel profitability
- Analyze market trends, competitive landscape, and consumer behavior to adjust regional strategies accordingly
- Manage regional pricing frameworks, promotion strategies, and distributor incentive programs
- Ensure compliance with local market regulations, trade policies, and company governance standards
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key distributors, strategic partners, and major accounts
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Business, Marketing, Management, or related fields
- 5–10 years of sales and distribution management experience, preferably in: Consumer Electronics, Mobile Phones, Home Appliances, Fast-Moving Consumer Electronics (FMCE)
- Proven experience managing distribution businesses across Middle East and/or Africa (Central Asia experience is a strong plus)
- Strong understanding of regional distributor models, channel structures, and route-to-market strategies
- Demonstrated ability to operate in multi-country, multicultural environments
- Solid commercial acumen with strong negotiation and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently and travel frequently across the region
- Fluent in English; Chinese, Arabic, French, or Russian is a plus
