Job Summary

We are looking to hire an experienced sales and business development executive for our pipe division. This individual will report directly to the General Manager – Business Development. We are specifically looking for an individual to cover the South-East region of Nigeria. This individual will be required to frequently travel to the region to perform the duties of their role. The business development team is responsible for generating new business for the company. As an organization, we have aggressive growth targets, and the business development team is primarily responsible for growth. Our clients range from large construction companies to federal and state water boards. We will require this individual to build relationships with all the state water boards of the above listed states to ensure that our company is well positioned for all water projects that are happening within those states. Primary responsibilities include prospecting leads, developing projects with clients, and ultimately generating new revenue for the business

  • Minimum Qualification: Degree
  • Experience Level: Entry level
  • Experience Length: No Experience/Less than 1 year

Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Overall accountability for generating new business and revenue for the company
  • Prospecting and building relationships with new clients
  • Developing relationships with all the state water boards including all key stakeholders responsible for assigning water projects in the regions
  • Setting weekly, monthly, and annual sales targets along with your manager with which your performance will be measured against
  • Working closely with the production and logistics team to plan production and dispatch requirements for projects
  • Proactively managing client needs and looking for ways to deepen relationships and grow the client’s business with the company
  • Preparing daily, weekly, monthly, and annual sales reports.


Requirements:

  • 0 - 5 years of experience in a Sales or Business Development Role.
  • Strong familiarity with the regions listed above.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Strong relationship skills – be able manage communication with multiple clients in an extremely professional manner. Many of our clients are government entities, so professionalism is of high importance.
  • Strong communication skills – this individual must be able to communicate clearly and effectively ensuring their team, clients, and management are constantly informed.


Location:
Lagos


Remuneration: NGN 300,000 - 400,000
