Responsibilities:

Distributor Development & Market Expansion (Sales Focus):

  • Identify, evaluate, and onboard high-potential B2B distributors and wholesalers in key Nigerian markets.
  • Negotiate partnership terms and sales targets in alignment with company profit objectives.
  • Conduct market research and analyze competitor pricing and product gaps to maintain a competitive edge.


Guidance & Training (Operational Focus):

  • Conduct comprehensive product knowledge training for distributors and their front-line sales teams.
  • Provide "on-the-ground" guidance to partners, including inventory placement advice, product display techniques, and pitching strategies for local hotels.
  • Develop and distribute sales toolkits, catalogs, and marketing materials to empower distributors to achieve independent sales.


Maintenance & Relationship Management:

  • Act as the primary point of contact for existing distributors, resolving issues related to order delays, stock discrepancies, or quality feedback.
  • Conduct regular site visits to distributor locations to audit stock levels and ensure brand display standards are met.
  • Implement loyalty programs or incentive mechanisms to drive repeat orders and build long-term partnerships.


Requirements:

  • Language: Fluent in English (verbal and written); proficiency in local languages (e.g., Yoruba, Hausa) is a plus.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Advanced Excel is essential). Experience with CRM software is preferred.
  • Attributes: Strong leadership, persuasive communication skills, high resilience, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
