Job summary

The Sales Operations Lead sits at the intersection of business development, client engagement, and internal execution. You will own day-to-day operations, keeping pipelines accurate, proposals moving, and processes running while also serving as the first voice that warm inbound leads hear from ZeroDay. You will be expected to operate with autonomy.

Job descriptions & requirements

Responsibilities:

Sales & Business Development:

  • Lead discovery calls with warm inbound prospects, understand their security posture and service needs
  • First point of contact for prospects to answer questions about our services
  • Qualify leads against ZeroDay's ideal client profile (fintechs and banks)
  • Prepare and send tailored follow-up materials, including proposal drafts
  • Manage the full early-stage sales process: outreach sequencing, meeting scheduling, pipeline progression, and handoff to delivery
  • Track all prospect interactions and update CRM records with accurate stage and next action


Sales Operations & Internal Operations:

  • Produce weekly pipeline reports covering leads, opportunities, proposals sent, and deals
  • Own proposal and contract workflows, coordinate with the technical team to scope work, and ensure documents go out on time
  • Coordinate scheduling across client-facing and internal stakeholders
  • Manage active engagements, track project milestones, flag delivery risks, and chase open items
  • Maintain and improve internal templates: SOW, proposals, scoping questionnaires, and email sequences
  • Identify process gaps and propose improvements to how ZeroDay sells, onboards, and delivers
  • Coordinate with subcontractors and delivery staff to ensure resource availability for upcoming engagements


Requirements:

  • Experience in sales operations, business development, or a client-facing role, preferably in professional services, SaaS, or technology
  • Proven ability to run discovery calls and advance deals through a pipeline with minimal supervision
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills


Nice to Have:

  • Experience selling into Nigerian financial institutions or regulated entities under CBN, OSFI, or similar frameworks
  • Familiarity with cybersecurity services, penetration testing, vCISO, and compliance advisory
