Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage all projects and operations being executed by the company
- Carry out regular project and operations assessments on all contracts under execution
- Keep abreast of technical developments in the marketplace to ensure the company is at cutting edge advantage (suggest technical journal to which company may subscribe)
- Be Pro-active in dealing with technical challenges and document technical processes for clarity and consistent productivity
- Prepare and submit periodic progress reports of all clients for submission to clients, and forward monthly report to Management on all project and operations management appraisal
- Troubleshoot in order to forestall/guard imminent operational hitches
- Offer advisory information on technical/engineering matters to client after obtaining appropriate approvals from the Head of Department.
- Negotiate and approve/sign work requests and/or change orders with client
- Ensure strict compliance with safety regulations
- Establish project and operations requirements, policies, organization, schedules and ensure adherence of standards and quality in the execution of projects
- Ensure all materials required for projects or operations are made available: confirm, approve and purchases all materials by liaising with the HOD on materials and equipment required for project or operations execution, by placing order and carry out purchase of same by liaising with Accounts thereby manage project costs, expenditure, and subcontracts
- Monitor,
manage and oversee all project’s or operation’s progress and approve final resolution of all items of non-conformance
- Ensure periodic preventive maintenance of company Assets like tools, generators, computers and all working tools and equipment. etc.
- Supervise and manage all the production of all Agricultural and Allied products to meet market demand and quality.
- Participation in preparation of Pre-qualification bids, lead in preparation of commercial bid for opportunities published in the dailies, internets or other notification.
- Carry out conceptual design and produce As built or required SLD of major or minor electrical, civil, and mechanical projects as may be assigned.
- Ensure tools and materials are signed out and signed in for every project of work on daily basis.
- Other reasonable and related company assignments that may be required of me from time to time.
Requirements:
- Minimum HND/BSc in Electrical, Mechanical or Civil
- 2 years of previous work experience in similar role
- Ability to multi task and ready to take challenges in other areas of business interest including Real Estate, Entertainment, Agro-Allied and Engineering Management and Construction.
