Job Title: Sales Executive
Company: Heirs Life Assurance
Location: Lagos State (Island residents preferred)
Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic, results-driven Sales Executive to join Heirs Life Assurance. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving new business growth, building and maintaining strong client relationships, and consistently achieving sales targets.
This role plays a critical part in the company’s expansion by identifying new opportunities, promoting our insurance products, and successfully closing sales.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Generation:
Identify and pursue new business opportunities through cold calling, networking, referrals, and social media engagement.
Client Relationship Management:
Build and maintain long-term client relationships by understanding customer needs and recommending tailored insurance solutions.
Product Knowledge:
Maintain in-depth knowledge of company products and services to effectively communicate their value to prospective clients.
Sales Presentations:
Deliver compelling presentations and product demonstrations to individual and corporate prospects.
Negotiation & Closing:
Negotiate terms, finalize agreements, and close sales in alignment with client needs and company objectives.
Target Achievement:
Consistently meet or exceed assigned sales targets and performance metrics.
Customer Retention:
Provide post-sale support to ensure client satisfaction, retention, and referrals.
Market Intelligence:
Monitor industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to identify new growth opportunities.
Reporting:
Maintain accurate records of sales activities, pipeline updates, and performance reports.
Collaboration:
Work closely with marketing, product, and customer service teams to implement effective sales strategies.
Qualifications
Experience:
Proven experience in sales. Prior experience in insurance or financial services is an added advantage.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
Required Skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong negotiation and closing abilities
Customer-focused with a commitment to service excellence
Proficiency in modern sales techniques and CRM tools
Strong problem-solving and objection-handling skills
Effective time management and organizational abilities
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, target-driven environment
Self-motivated with a results-oriented mindset
Requirements
Demonstrated track record of exceeding sales targets
Ability to work independently and collaboratively
Insurance industry experience is an advantage
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline
