Job summary

This is a full-time on-site role located in Abuja for a Sales and Marketing Manager. Responsibilities include developing and implementing marketing strategies, closing deals, managing and growing client relationships, crafting sales plans, and identifying new market opportunities.

Job descriptions & requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Manage a Marketing and customer service team and provide leadership, training and coaching
  • Monitor and evaluate the performance of the marketing customer service team members, providing feedback, coaching, and support to enhance their sales and customer service skills and productivity.
  • Develop a sales and customer service strategy to achieve organizational sales goals and revenues
  • Set individual sales targets with sales and customer service team
  • Work on sales scripts with agents
  • Track, collate and interpret sales figures and reporting
  • Ensure members of the marketing and customer service team have the necessary resources to perform properly
  • Identify new business opportunities, market segments, and potential clients to drive business growth and increase sales opportunities.
  • Plan and direct marketing and customer service training with the Human resources department
  • Assist the human resources department during hiring processes
  • Control expenses and monitor budgets in the marketing and customer service department
  • Stay informed about market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to identify opportunities for growth, innovation, and competitive advantage.
  • Prepare and present sales reports, performance analyses, and forecasts to senior management, offering insights, recommendations, and updates on sales activities and results.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in any relevant field with 10 years’ experience post-NYSC
  • Vast experience in sales, marketing and customer service
  • Strong communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work independently and meet targets
  • Proficiency in CRM tools and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience in real estate sales is a strong advantage
  • Customer-focused mindset with problem-solving abilities
  • Must be able to lead a team
  • Must be based in Abuja
