Safety Officer
Job summary
The Safety Officer will promote and maintain a safe working environment on construction sites by conducting safety inspections, identifying hazards, enforcing HSE standards, and monitoring compliance. The ideal candidate must have hands-on construction site experience and strong knowledge of workplace safety practices.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct site safety inspections and identify potential hazards.
- Ensure compliance with HSE policies, construction standards, and safety regulations.
- Monitor workers and enforce safe work practices on construction sites.
- Conduct toolbox talks, safety briefings, and basic safety training.
- Investigate incidents and prepare safety reports.
- Maintain proper safety documentation and records.
Requirements:
- Minimum of an HND in Engineering, Environmental Science, Occupational Health & Safety, or a related field.
- Must have proven experience working on construction sites.
- Good knowledge of construction safety practices and HSE regulations.
- Relevant HSE certifications will be an added advantage.
- Strong communication, observation, and reporting skills.
- Must be proactive, safety-conscious, and able to work effectively on-site.
