Job descriptions & requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Business development to build a strong revenue generation.
  • As a relationship officer, you will be responsible for marketing the organization’s investment services to new and existing clients, building the portfolio of the organization, managing the organization’s clientele, growing the organization’s balance sheet, and delivering excellent service.
  • Build and maintain a client base, keeping current client plans up to date and engaging new clients on an ongoing basis.
  • As the investment adviser, you are to discuss clients' financial goals and educate clients on various ways to accomplish them. 
  • Cultivate customer relationships.
  • Help clients assess their investments, considering the client's long- and short-term goals, family status, age, employment, and expenses to give the most accurate advice.
  • Participate in the management and development of the department by carrying out marketing and proposal efforts.
  • Lead the direct transaction team and coordinate transaction execution and closing.
  • Manage clients’ portfolios.
  • Prepare investor presentations and other presentations as applicable to investment
  • Harness strong presentation skills and a great understanding of customer relations tactics.


Requirements:

  • Adhere to policies and procedures. 
  • Must also keep up with market trends and financial news to ensure financial, investment & loan guidance is accurate and relevant.
  • Keep abreast of new regulations or policies that may affect the industry and consistently monitor local and international economies.
  •  Regulatory & Legal Knowledge
  • Possess thorough knowledge of federal and state laws regarding investments, financial advice, and fees for financial services.
