Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Retail Sales and Operations Officer based in Abeokuta, Ogun State. The role involves overseeing daily operations, managing inventory, customer experience and ensuring smooth retail processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily retail sales and customer interactions
• Ensure proper display, arrangement, and cleanliness of products
• Monitor stock levels and coordinate restocking with the operations team
• Handle cash transactions and maintain accurate sales records
• Provide excellent customer service and resolve customer inquiries
• Track daily sales performance and prepare reports
• Ensure compliance with company pricing and operational procedures
• Developing and implementing operational strategies
• Addressing any operational issues in a timely manner

The Retail Sales and Operations Officer will also collaborate with various teams to achieve organizational goals and ensure successful retail operations.

Qualifications

• Strong Interpersonal and Communication skills to manage relationships effectively and ensure excellent customer service
• Proficiency in Operations Management, with the ability to oversee and optimize daily retail activities
• Analytical skills to evaluate sales performance, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions
• Basic knowledge of Finance to manage budgets, ensure cost control, and support profit targets
• Proven organizational and problem-solving abilities
• Previous experience in retail or operations management is a plus
• OND, HND, or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Operations Management, or a related field
• High level of responsibility, honesty, and attention to detail
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
